Reason for sale?
No. of Owners?
Considering the miles, I hope the car has not seen much snow.
Can you PM your contact details?
Also, do you know if there is much complications in bringing car back to US?
Thanks

If you look at the op's history, he has been trying to sell of this vehicle for a while. What a gorgeous car; I hope a fellow Rennlister is lucky in picking this up... What a steal!

This is what I know about the car, I'll post it here instead of trying to reply to several emails. I was told that the car was used as a show car to take to the dealers when the 996 Turbo first came out, so the first year it was driven 1106 miles. It was then leased to someone who lived in California. I have a copy of the 2001 lease agreement, $10,000.00 down and $1839.38 a month for 60 months. After that a collector had it from 2006 to 2011. A Canadian then bought it and sold it to me in March 2013. I bought it with 31,500 miles.
I have several people who want a PPI, so I made an appointment at the local Porsche dealer for Thursday April 9th.
The reason why I am selling it is I want a convertible, and I want something that is better for the rough roads here.
I don't think it's that much work to Import it in to the USA, however I think there is a 2.5% duty. I'm sure you can Google it.

I've been trying to sell it on the forums for a while, but not trying to hard. I've never had it advertised locally and I've never had anyone actually look at the car. I don't live in an area where a 911 Turbo is popular.

I did put a GT2 replica wing and bumper on it last summer, but I'm over that now and went back to stock. I'm past my mid life crisis.
I would sell it in Canadian funds, I'm sure you can do the math. My Credit Union takes 2.5% to sell US money.

I was thinking SL55AMG or a Jag XKR, but after doing some reading about the Mercedes, I would have to get one for free to make it worth it. I drove an E36 for years so I don't want one again. I don't think the 911 is hard to maintain? Especially when it only gets driven 2500 miles a year.
