Update:
This car was sold, but PPI revealed that there was leaking cam covers and right side paint work. There is NOTHING on the car fax. Also, there are records, records and more records for this car. It has all the little things that most don't have. Cabriolet wind-screen, front bra, car cover, Porsche air pressure gauge, air pump, two fire extinguishers, etc. Cam covers and windshield wipers replaced. Let me know if there is anything else you want to know or see!
Reduced to $35,000

I loved my pastel yellow coupe - such a great color.
Also, I had a '98 C2S that I bought from the Audi salesman I had known for years (and several A6s for my wife). We were there picking up an A6 the day he got it new. I told him then I would buy it when his three year lease was up and I did 3 years and 21k miles later. When I went to sell the car in 2005, one of the potential buyers came over with a paint meter and the right rear quarter panel showed much thicker paint than the rest of the car. The implication was that there was undisclosed damage/repaint. I called the original owner who swore (and I believed him) the car was never even scratched while he leased it. And I knew it had no damage or paint in the 5 years I had it. Why the paint wasn't uniform, I have no idea.
So, if there isn't any other sign of damage other than paint thickness, maybe it came that way from the factory?
GLWS. I stared at this posting in January but was deciding to get back into a coupe of some sort. That color is quite special IMO.

not to hijack, but the price is very attractive IMHO.
1995 high mile coupes list for the same price and sell.
If this were a 1997 coupe with these miles it would be 5-10k higher.

Swartzzz,
What happened to this car? Is it still for sale? No response to my email or PM.
Please respond so I know whether to move on or still have a chance to purchase this one.
