1987 Porsche 911 930 Turbo - White with Blue Interior - $34,500

For sale is an awesome 1987 Porsche 911 930 Turbo in white on blue interior. This is a true two owner car and has been used as intended and driven. In the past 90 days, we have dropped the motor and fixed/maintained most everything that needed attention. Please take a closer look at this amazing automobile!

The second owner purchased this car in '91 and drove it until he passed in late 2007, logging mileage up to 140,000. Mileage is fully documented by the Carfax and his annual emission inspections. The car was then owned and stored by the owner’s two sons until we acquired it earlier this year. We meticulously went over the car, identifying any and all issues that needed to be fixed.

The long list includes:
New clutch
Spark plugs, distributor cap, rotor
Rebuilt axles
Fuel filter
Oil change and filter
Replaced vacuum hoses and a few oil lines
Hood and trunk shocks
Alternator and engine wiring harness
Battery
Shifter bushings and coupler

The car had a high quality full window out respray around 2007 in original white. I would rate the paint at an 8.5. There are a few imperfections but they are minor. The interior is the original blue leather/vinyl combo. The front seats show some wear but I think they match the age of the car. Overall, the interior is very presentable.

Based on the Carfax, information from the previous caretakers, and our thorough inspection, the car does not appear to have ever had any accident damage. Also, I have not seen any rust on the car. Absolutely zero.

Aside from an aftermarket stereo and cat bypass pipe, this 930 is stock. Power is great with a strong pull through the gears. She tracks straight on the road and is a smooth highway cruiser.

There are a few minor items that need attention and these have been factored into the price. The rear 16x9 Fuchs have chrome lips which are badly peeling. They need to be stripped and either rechromed and polished. Also, the rear tires are old, loud, and mismatched. The front Yokohamas are nice, quiet, and have 75% tread. I could not find a high quality rear replacement and also did not know the future caretakers preference on wheel finish.

The aftermarket stereo does not produce sound. Currently, the tachometer and oil pressure gauge are not working. Otherwise, I would feel great about sending the new owner on a 200 mile journey.

I think further clarification is required. In good faith we sold the car to Miami Motorsports, who then marketed the car on eBay. Although it was the same vin number, his ad did not describe the car that we are selling. The whole thing looked like a scam. Although we were given a pre payment to reserve the car, the final payment never came through. Yes, the car is still available, and has been described accurately in our original ad, unlike the eBay ad that is being referred to in this thread.
