2009 Nissan GT-R SWITZER P800

Tuning a performance car can be a touchy subject. Cars that are already perfectly massaged from the factory can become unreliable, or barely drivable as a daily street car leaving the owner to think, "maybe the factory had it right?" What's the point of adding 300 HP if you can't even put the power to the ground and the car is in the shop all the time?

Enter Switzer performance, an Ohio-based performance vehicle tuning powerhouse with an apt for forced induction, and specifically turbocharged cars. We're not sure if they are practicing the art of black magic, or if they used to build alien spacecraft for a living, but the performance that their cars produce is out-of-this-world. Combine God-fearing acceleration with everyday drivability and reliability, and you have a freakshow of a car that can take the kids to school and then destroy quarter-mile competitors.

This 2009 Nissan GT-R has had over $55,000 dollars spent on the best available upgrades and has been driven just a touch over 2,000 miles since the upgrades were performed in 2011.

For the enthusiast looking for a vehicle that will certainly upstage every other "fast car" story in his or her library, this car is a total monster.
