really cool car but for a 1999 price is too high, I hate to say it as I think it is worth every penny but even my 2003 would not sell at that price, at same mileage and equipment.
certainly will have to be under 25k to sell :S

Thanks all for your kind words. The car is still available. I do also have some parts that I'm selling. I'd prefer to sell to the buyer of the car, or to someone in the SF Bay Area, but I am willing to ship (buyer to pay for shipping).

FACTORY GT3 SWAY BARS: New cost looks like $450 F, $580 R. I’d want $650 for the pair. Note that for the fronts, you’d need to buy new sway bar links designed for the application.

DAS ROLL BAR: Cost new is $1495 + $212 shipping. The new ones come in bare metal. I had mine professionally powder-coated. I’d want $900 for it.

FACTORY/RECARO GT3 SEATS: Reinforced fiberglass frame, black leather, Porsche crest on headrest. Work well with either 5-point or stock belts. The one I used on the passenger side is barely used, I’d call it a 9.5/10 condition. The other I’d say is an 8.5. Some crinkles/minor wear, but no rips or tears anywhere. Both seats have very minor marks on rear from installation/removal a few times. Comes with factory sliders (mount right in), and if you want I can include a Brey-Krause mount for the driver’s seat which bolts the seat straight to the floor (lose back-forth adjustability, gain 1” of headroom). These are hard to price. The only set I can find online right now is $4995. There are lots of fakes out there at lower prices, but I wouldn’t touch them. I think a fair price is $2500 with all the brackets.

PAGID ORANGE BRAKE PADS: I have a set of fronts and set of rears, new in box. New cost is about $500, I’d want $400.

BBS RACING MAGNESIUM ALLOY 3-PIECE WHEELS: 9x18 F and 11x18 rear, the maximum fitment for a narrow-body 996. I bought these from a pro team that had used them as spares. Not sure what the wheels weigh, but I’m sure they’re among the best choices out there. I’d want $2000 for the set. Excellent condition, but the rim part (aluminum replacable parts) are slightly out of round, my tire shop told me (I couldn’t feel it). Comes with Dunlop track tires if you want, but they’re old, I wouldn’t use them for much more than practice laps.

Still available at $27,000. The best-looking car I've ever owned, but I've got too many cars.

Parts above still available, except for GT3 seats.

Of course, I am biased...but that is a fantastic example of a pristine 996. Well done sir. I think many people would be pleasantly surprised at the performance one could extract from a properly set up 996. Sure, you could find one w/ more miles and fewer goodies for 5k less, but that would be a less intelligent decision. That's a lot of car for $27k. I hope the right buyer views this post. GLWS

If I had a buyer for my 99 I would jump on this. All the right options. GLWS

Great Looking car, looks kinda like MINE. GLWS! These will be Crazy Money at some point. Just bought this one 6 weeks ago and had it completely restored because I think the next Gen 911 will add much value to these 996's.
