I've tried to buy and sell 911's since the 80's, and I'll suggest two observations that have held true all along: first, knowledge of that model year; second, known issues.
As a seller, if there's too many questions from a buyer asking about the given model, indicating a lack of knowledge of that model year, and not enough questions demonstrating a thorough checklist of well-informed due diligence, it's a bad deal.
As a buyer, if the seller does not present the car with a full description of its options and modifications, as well as full disclosure of this particular example in line item detail addressing all known issues, I think it's a bad deal.
So I agree that "too" many questions is a warning flag, but so is too few ...

I think this is a ridiculous oversimplification, but I also think it's quite true, so long as you set a sensible limit on the count of "too."

b/c we both get tired of answering "what color is your car" when the ad says WHITE.

Love this car, however would like to get more info on the hit, (trivial as it may be) especially at this price point. If its something small like a broken mirror or headlight, or perhaps even a minor fender bender... not really that big a deal. Do appreciate the transparency and honesty...but a little more info would be helpful.

I am interested in buying this car if still available. Please let me know either way. I am a serious buyer willing to do an immediate transaction.

I must be seriously lucky or spoiled because I went to this strange "exotic" car lot a while back and when I walked inside the owner had his car parked there. A tracked RS 4.0. It was white with silver wheels and red/black race seats.
He kindly let me sit in it. I would've taken a picture of the number plate had I known this wouldn't be my first encounter.
About three months ago there was another White RS 4.0 valet parked outside my local Capital Grille. It was White with White wheels so I know it wasn't the White one I passed a couple weeks back on the highway with black wheels and PCCB's.... All sightings in Naples, FL. The land of the Unicorn!
