Mile 45183: New Clutch, $1,800
• Condition of the car:
Exterior: No body work, no paint work, original paint is still lush.
Interior: The sports seats are in very good shape (excellent wear for 48K mile car).
Engine/ drive train: No modification. Car drives well.
Suspension: PO installed 993 RS shocks. I found them to be too harsh for street and replaced them with OEM shocks at 47000 miles (car now has what seems like Paris-Dakar Rally car height. Smile). Based on mechanics advice, the car still has monoballs on front lower control arm bushing for improved steering feel.
The car was maintained very well, primarily by European Performance Engineering in MA and Rennwerke in NY, as can be seen in service record.
• Known issues:
PPI performed when I purchased vehicle pointed out power steering fluid leakage. Power steering line and reservoir were replaced. There is still small leakage (one or two drop) after I drive the car. Did not bother to take the car to the shop to address minor leakage.
No other known issue.
• Reason for selling:
I have put on less than 500 miles on this car this year. I thought about making this my daily commuter. Hate to say this, but my 08 M5 is far better daily commuter. Shame to have car like this just sit in the garage. Time to allow next person to enjoy the car.
Please PM me or e-mail me at brianbyu@aol.com if you have any questions. Thanks.

assuming the work was done by a good shop this is a steal of a price and the car looks great! Any new buyers ofa 993TT car with 50K miles range (many times much less) that hasn't done seals and turbos will likely need it soon... GLWS and again this looks like a GREAT price...

Easy gang...We've been in contact. I have a PPI scheduled tomorrow on another car, and I'm not going to go back on my word, but this car is really a nice deal, I almost hope the other car fails tomorrow!! I can't thank all of you enough for being so good about pointing out new cars, and trying to make this happen. This is a great community..Cheers

I wanted to let everyone know that I sold the car last night pending a receipt of bank transfer by 2PM this afternoon. Turns out that the perspective buyer was looking at this car last year when it was originally listed for sale. He knew more about this car than I did.
I am glad that the car is going to person who is actually going to use it.
As for the price, I think it shows that if you price the car reasonably, it will sell quickly.
Thanks everyone.
