What R Turbo specification was done on the car. I believe there was a 550hp and 590hp package? I'm assuming Ruf rebuilt engine when conversion was done,.correct?

It's a non-engine conversion. It has just about every 996tt part available from RUF though minus actual ruf turbos, rear wing, or rotating assembly that come in the 590 nardo. Regardless of this, the RUF exhaust in combination with the tune from EPL are truly a match made in heaven. No lag, no drone, and a very wide power band.

Unfortunately, that changes everything... without the engine work, the car is not considered a Ruf. If it had only the engine done, Ruf would recognize it as a Ruf. As it is, it is a very nice 996tt with some Ruf bits. Just clarifying because ad is a bit misleading by calling it a conversion.. Not on purpose, I'm sure. It's a gorgeous car, either way. Glws...

No harm done really. The ad details and itemizes exactly what is included on the car. While we're getting into definitions... Real "RUF" cars are built from a body in white and have a RUF vin. They're never porsches at any point.

The current packages offered by RUF here in the US let you pick and chose your combination of aesthetic and performance modifications. RUF doesn't make you do an all or nothing conversion. You pick based on your taste and make your car special. I have the receipt from RUF Auto to prove it.
