The 1972 body style is the only year with the oil filler door in the passenger side rear fender!! and most desirable. It was deleted again in 1973 and makes this year very unique! Also as S appearance package with stainless wheel opening moldings.
Further 1972 was the first year of the 2.4 Liter engine and the new 915 5-speed transmission with regular shift pattern. which shift properly no issues.
Also the only year the T was built with the mechanical Fuel Injection as on the E and the S (USA only), reason it is called a T/E where the letter E is the first letter of the German word 'Einspritzung' (fuel injection).
The rest of the world Porsche supplied the T with carburetors (German: Vergaser) resulting in the type name T/V.
This is a very solid, original and clean driver, which just received a full service.
Lots of $$$$ spend on restoring entire suspension and all 4 brake calipers rebuild with fully restored undercarriage as new , 4 new Michelin tires all around 195/65/15 on beautiful date correct original 6" Fuchs wheels.
Previous owner spent just months ago over $15,000.- on engine work with aproximatly 1K miles since done, in which all oil lines were replace, chain tensioner upgrades, new clutch etc etc, of which i have copies of the invoice present!
The interior is mostly original with nice patina, in particular the original leather (special ordered) front seats with houndstooth inserts!
This car is absolutely beautiful, and drives absolutly wonderfull. Very desirable one year with only Oil tank door on right rear fender Very well sorted 911 2.4 MFI with 911 S options and very very FAST. S performance at 911T price.

Price drop to $62,500 USD. Guys this is a turn key 911 2.4 get in and drive, prices are only up ftom here for nice examples like this one,Thank you.
