I have been told that this car was most likely raced in the European Super Cup series, it was originally imported into the US by a California driver named Valazquez. In 2004 the car got a new crate engine by Percision Motorworks in California, the car sat for 2 years with very little use and was freshened by the same Percision Motorworks, sold to Mark Starr a Lotus dealer in New York, Mark used the car for open track days, I don't believe he raced the car. Rick Lubin purchased the car from Mark Starr in 2008. Rick very lightly used the car for open track days, he had very bad diabetes and could not race on any hot days. i purchased the car in april 2010. and used for open track days MMRA and NASA race days.

The engine was sent of Porsche Motorsports last winter and was fantastically completely rebuilt to a 3.8L monster. I only had one day (maybe 1 hour) to run the car this fall. Its unbelievable.
