I bought the car to replace my '89 911, mainly because I have always lusted for a 993.
A little bit about her:
1996
~79k on the odometer
Glacier White
Cabriolet
Tiptronic transmission
Blue interior with blue convertible top
She is currently fitted with fabspeed cat bypass pipes and sounds pretty aggressive.
I just serviced the gearbox with fresh ATF and filter, as well as filled the rear differential with new fluid.
The brakes are in good order, rotors and pads are +75% remaining.
Tires are in like condition, although they are cheap rubber (no ps2's here)
I filled her with Liqui Moly upon taking receipt of the car 2k miles ago. The stuff that was in pan looked fine, no evidence of anything metallic on the plug, no smoke on startup.
The CEL is lit and seems reoccurring. Durametric could not give an accurate fault code--I think its one of the o2 sensors, that is just shot. I am fairly certain that it is exhaust related, either due to no catalytic converter or possible SAI failure--either way, I am not inclined to fix it as I do not live in an emissions controlled area.
Like I said, she has been really good to me so far. Oil temps are right where they should be even on 90 degree days--oil pressure is excellent. Paint is excellent, as well as fabric top and interior.
Everything works except for passengers side fog light. (Its nice to have AC even in a cab!)
Comes with tool kit, tonneau cover, engine undertray (removed to fix leaky valve covers and clean underbody)
Things that I would fix if I had unlimited time and the desire:
Wheels could use a respray in in the foreseeable future.
Oil leak from passenger side timing chain cover.
Windscreen could use replacement due to pitting.
Aftermarket radio has a short.
I bought this car from my local indy who repaired it after it was rear ended in traffic. I saw the car before it was repaired and can honestly say that it was just bumper cover repair and a little panel work--all done splendidly. New lenses front and rear! Fresh paint!

Completely stock, priced at $24,000.
Porsche or Lotus trades considered.
I have a clear GA title in hand and I am the 2nd owner. No records sorry.
