This car began as a damage and rust-free early 911, designed to be run in Vintage Classifications such as SVRA, VRG, HSR and other Historic Racing Groups. Carefully assembled with many updates and an attention to re-creating the detail of the 1969 Daytona class winner, this car is a well sorted and prepared Vintage Racing Porsche 911. This 911 has a current Vintage Racing logbook and all safety equipment has recently been replaced with new components. The 1969 “Long Wheelbase” coupe maximizes the rules and is fresh and ready to use!
The Daytona details include the original Gulf Orange and Aga Blue color scheme, with computer matched graphics in original colors and fonts. The unmistakable livery is a reminder of the 1968 911L that Adamowicz-Jennings-Wetanson drove to the win at Daytona. From the very special and rare “Cibie” hood mounted lights to the vendor decals from Bosch, Goodyear and Quaker State…no expense has been spared to re-create the Daytona winner.
The cost to create this car today would exceed $100,000…this special car is offered for sale at $67,500 or best offer. Its not a Concours car, but not a track rat either...well presented and all the right stuff. Porsche trades may be considered.
Modifications and recent improvements include:
-Fresh 2.0 six cylinder engine with Pauter connecting rods, high compression 81mm pistons and cylinder heads from Mark Eskuche, 906 based camshafts, special carburetor tuning and electronic ignition. The heads are already bored for twin plug application should regulations allow it! Only one event from rebuild.

-Fuel Safe fuel cell.

-Spare “cookie cutter” wheels with Proxes R888 tires (1 event from new), wheels have been checked and powder coated silver.

UPDATE: Just finished the Jefferson 500 Enduro at Summit Point, 2nd in class and 8th OA! I have a short list of shop items, but most of the sorting out after an extensive re-fresh is now done. Please update the "new" items from the list above to include about 3hrs of running time. This is a very well presented and sorted car!

Clarke-thanks for the plug! It is a really cool little car, fun to drive but you have to learn what it likes instead of just telling it what to do like a new GT3...![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
It will make someone a great vintage car.
