Beautiful outside and in. Runs smoothly and powerfully. Responsive and precise handling, while maintaining driver comfort. It's the ultimate blend of sports and luxury. All aspects of the car are in excellent order: engine, Tiptronic transmission, air-conditioning, power convertible top, brakes, interior etc.
Originally purchased for $96,000, this C4 has top of the line performance and quality. Gorgeous Lapis Blue Metallic Paint. Tiptronic 5-speed Automatic Transmission. The car is equipped with the Premium Leather Package, for full leather trim on the dash, doors, and seats. Factory options include Bose Premium Upgraded Sound System, Porsche Stablity Management system, and Heated Seats. Never tracked or raced.
Once you drive a Carrera 4, you won't go back to two-wheel drive! The Carrera 4 has a beautiful AWD system that puts maximum grip on the ground for smooth handling, especially upon exit in turns and around bends. The usual oversteer caused by the engine's location over the rear wheels becomes an even distribution of power and grip for extremely confident handling.
This is essentially a one-owner vehicle. Purchased only 6 months ago after a nationwide search for a Carrera 4 in excellent condition, and it runs beautifully!
NADA Retail Price: $34,800
KBB Retail Price: $33,875
This 2003 C4 Cabrio benefits from the model year enhancements to engine (from 3.4L to 3.6L) and horsepower (from 300 up to 320), stability (25% more structural rigidity), and enhancements to aerodynamics resulting in better airflow to the radiator and reduced aerodynamic lift. Interior upgrades for the model year are a locking dashboard glovebox where none had existed, and proper cupholders that popped out from the dash instead of clipping onto the outboard air vents. Minor controls were tidied up, and the optional onboard computer was now standard. The cabrio received a heated glass rear window, replacing the plastic window on previous models.

Changing the color on the top would mainly affect the value to someone who is an original collector. I would recommend keeping the top that you remove when changing to the new top; the old top remains intact after proper removal. I found many vendors who sell tops for the 2002 onward 996's; here is one from eBay:

Here is a vendor in South Florida who takes care of the whole operation:
