I know I should not say this as an owner of 993 and a 964 turbo but it's sad that the price of these are going very high very quickly and becoming a collector thing. I am not a fan of collecting I love driving them and I drive them hard.

I agree. I think we have a lot of investors speculators who are able to control the market and drive prices up. Look at most of the for sale ads on rennlist, majority of them are bought buy undercover dealers. Enthusiast don't even get a chance to buy them before some dealer has already wired the money 15 mins after its been listed. It's definitely a different time... Thank god I have the good sense not to pay $80k+ for a 90k mile 930.

When I bought my Aston 3 years ago I remember a red/black 930 with 40-50k miles sitting for sale at a Toyota dealer in IL for $35k. There was no service history on the car but the carfax was clean and they had a heck of a time selling it. I still regret not buying it.
