Great build. Very tempting. Can you explain your "Bottom end of motor fully rebuilt "? Is it just a new pan with new IMS or the motor was actually rebuild with new pistons, ...? If not, is it just stock 997.1 3.8? I do see a lot of local 3.8L Cayman builds with some oil cooling issues running way higher then 250F. Any oil cooling remedies?
Good luck.

Entire bottom end rebuilt while doing the IMS bearing as a preventative action.

no cooling issues at all and have ran Sebring,Road Atlanta and Birmingham in July and August in Chin Red Group.... 2:24 to 2:26 at Sebring...so pushing it and no issues( pushing it for me that is &#128540
added 3rd radiator as a part it the build and with better sump never had and oil or water temp issue....

strong car with a proper build ....

Only there one day.... solo/ green group Then blue ... I don’t remember but probably not relevant to the car....

i have run diwn prepped corvettes, gt3’s, 993 with 3.8l etc
the car is fast and high torque ...
tuned by Steve Mase who is well known throughout IMSA as a great tuner and a race team engineer

over a year of car development....

Yeah. Same here. It's always a blast to come off the track and get angry / confused looks from the dedicated Vettes, GTRs, GT3s, etc.

Kudos on the great build. Anyone considering should buy with confidence. I have essentially the same build with a few more cc's, and I can't imagine a better, more capable car short of a Clubsport MR or heavily-prepped, and much more expensive GT3RS.
