I have owned this car for close to three years. Runs and drives very well. The car needs no mechanical work. You can drive and enjoy this car right away. The engine, transmission, suspension, steering, brakes (the entire drive train) operates as it should. The car is a great driver. The air conditioning A/C blows very cold. No expense has been spared maintaining the drivetrain.
This is not a low mileage showroom car. Calibrate your expectations accordingly. This is a driver, a nice driver.
If you are in the market for a Porsche 911 there are a few things to consider about the 2002 model year which some may consider improvements over the 1999 - 2001 model years, especially if you are looking for an automatic transmission. The 2002 tiptronic transmission is an improvement over prior years (1998-2001). You can shift gears 'on demand' and it shifts flawlessly.
2002 model year has:
- a bit more horsepower 315 hp (vs. 300 for earlier years)
- improved headlight design and front fender design
- improved tiptronic transmission
- slightly wider stance
Maintenance within the last 24 months and under 3000 miles driven since. New parts with receipts for all major items.

I would sell this car to my best friend or family member. It's a solid car. A whole lot of recent maintenance and a new suspension. Is it perfect, no. It's 15 years old and has 124,000 miles on it. There are a few cosmetic issues, small parts that aren't perfect. PPI welcome and there are many places to choose from in my area. More and better pics to come.

Price lowered to $17,500. That is my true rock bottom price. The list of maintenance, seats, wheels and tires etc. above easily exceeds $10,000.
I will not respond to inquires/offers below $17,500. Thank you.

Porsche was PA State inspected today at Mike Tillson Motorcars (classic car and Ferrari specialist). Needed nothing. Recommended service? Nothing. So in the State of PA it's good for another year. Paid off the loan today and will have the title in hand in about 5 business days. I have a deal in place for a new Range Rover Velar. I will have the Porsche until Nov. 3rd, after that it's a trade in to the dealer. It's hard to believe with so many new parts this thing can't bring $17K! Wow. Less than a Nissan 240Z!
