Hi,
Up for sale is a 1990 964 C2. I purchased this car from Canada on Rennlist last year with the idea of creating my dream Magnus Walker 964 hot rod. However, the body has been converted to a 993 style and I underestimated the body work needed to bring the car back to a 964 using a body guy at full retail.
The car has a 3.8L hot-rodded motor built by Ludwig Heimrath in Canada. It was used primarily as a track car.
This car needs some TLC. There is no carpeting, the dash is a bit sloppy. But it's a bast to drive if you like fast and loud. It's got a roll bar, ridiculously tight suspension, Recaro racing seats.
Car is at my mechanic's shop in Stratford, Connecticut.
Would be a great car for a non-purist with access to good body work. Or maybe someone who just wants to drive it hard at a track.
I don't have a lot of history on this car, I apologize for that. But I am happy to put interested buyers in touch with my mechanic who can answer questions better than I. I did have the car PPI'd by Mantis Racing in Toronto before purchasing (fellow's name is Ernie). I also tracked down the guy in Toronto who owned the car prior to the guy who sold to me. His name is Kenneth and he did the body work. Nice guy.
I'm not looking to profit off of this, I'm just looking to get back what it cost me. I hope someone can turn it into their dream car.
Not interested in trades.
Will try to get better pics.
Thanks for looking,
Peter
