winch for enclosed trailer

I had a Smittybilt winch with wireless remote and synthetic rope. My new trailer is coming with either a Superwinch or Warne wireless control with over 5K LBS capacity.
Just make sure you get a synthetic rope and a wireless control. It makes things a bit easier.

I put a Harbor Frieght 5K pound unit in my trailer a couple of years ago working without issue pulling in a 2001 Cup Car at $179 not much of a gamble

Can you post some pictures of the framing to hold that winch box? I've thought about retrofitting something like that, but not sure how easy it would be if it has extra framing to hold it in place

On Amazon it appears that the 7500 version is cheaper - conflict in description regarding rope included between base and SR version.

Think carefully about where you place the winch in the trailer.
if the tow hook is off to the side, then that will make the cable bunch to that side. Get a Wireless Remote. worth every penny.
I would get a synth rope if I had to do it again, but they are expensive.
YMMV

Plus I just found out that etrailer has a price pledge + 10% difference policy. That potentially could save another ~$30 of this winch. (free beer at track closing )

I had the same unit on my open trailex, worked very well. My only complaint was that I had to make a sealed container to store all the electronics to protect from the texas elements. The new S models have everything mounted inside the main enclosure.
