Default Ford F250 Brakes

Hi. My 2013 F250's brakes have been feeling a little off so looking to play it safe and give the system a once over. Any recommendations for pads, rotors, fluid and brake lines? The truck is used almost exclusively for towing.

I have a 2012 250 crew longbed using stock pads etc. and they seem fine (with routine maintenance).
Are you unhappy with factory standard or just looking to improve?

Thanks Rick. I'm wondering whether the issue is routine maintenance related or me overtaxing the system. I'm towing less weight than you so stock is probably fine.

I have an F450 and only stock OEM brake components ever.
I'm very fortunate that my local Ford dealer has a super truck tech.

I have a 2013 F250 diesel also. I've only had to change the pads once and used the OEM's. They work fine to me. No need to overthink it unless you're trying to address / improve a specific issue.

Ford makes an 'endurance' brake pad for the HD trucks that is the same price as the standard pad.

Would the endurance be the pad of choice for towing? Fade being the concern.

What feels off? Lack of stopping power? Vibration?

I have an F350 and tow a 27 foot steel trailer. I use stock rotors and pads and haven't had a problem.

I use Hawk LTS pads with stock rotors in mine and flushed the fluid with ATE gold. Brakes perfectly with the packed/heavy trailer.

I also used the Hawk pads on my 2008 F250, as well as on my current tow vehicle (yukon XL). Much better than stock.

pretty much the same truck as mine. what load are you towing? my pedal was a little soft so I bled it and it's been great with OEM parts
