Carlisle Radial Trail HD vs Trailer King II trailer tires
Anybody switched from the OEM Trailer King II trailer tires to the Carlisle Radial Trail HD trailer tires.
Right now the Carlisle are on special after rebate at Discount Tire.
I know a lot of member want to buy american (GoodYear) but at the moment these are the choices I have.

Hope you are not referring to Power King Tow Max. OEM on my trailer and they are the biggest pieces of crap ever. AFAIK, prone to delaminating nasty blisters on the INSIDE where you do not notice it right away. Not even a season on my last set. Several seasons on first set but after removing them I got a good look at the inner lumpy side walls.
I have heard some bad things about Carlisle only lately, don't know any more, but put 10 ply (over rated) on my trailer 2 years ago after taking of my Tow Max for inspection (almost puked). I generally travel about 90 miles each way and the highway part is usually 70-75. Once a season up to northern Maine and second leg is around 85. No issues so far and next season they are toast, no matter what they look like.

I've had good luck with the Carlisle's from Discount. Trick is to keep them covered during extended non-use so the sun doesn't accelerate the rot (not brand specific).

Towmax STR II tires have a Service Description that confirms each size earns an L speed rating. Therefore, running the standard cold tire pressure recommended for the trailer and its load requires no additional adjustment in pressure for speeds up to the tire's 75 mph (120 km/h) maximum speed rating.

You are choosing between MayPop and WillBlow. Flip a coin, or order some Goodyears online.

ExMB,
You have an Intech correct? There's an option when ordering to upgrade to goodyear's in both 15'' and 16'' sizes. They are using the new Goodyear Endurance tires.

Fwiw, I bought Maxxis 8008's about a year ago and I'm happy so far. Looked around and they had positive reviews. One of the primary reasons I went with them was the ability to get load range E tires, in 225/75/15

While I'm waiting on an email back ton InTech about my trailer.... does anyone know what brand they use for the 235/80/16 Load E tires?
My trailer is half way thru its build, so I don't know if I can make a tire change or not yet.
