Powered landing gear?
Just picked up my new 36ft Bravo gooseneck today and just cranking it once convinced me I need a powered landing gear. The good news is that its already set up for a hydraulic unit with a mounting plate in the center.
There seems to be 2 types electric and hydraulic, is there a preference? What do people have?
I so see some other kits also that just bolt on to the exiting landing gear.
Thanks

Doing some researching I'm coming to the same conclusion, hydraulic is better.
Bob you remember the brand you have?
I found two so far, Bigfoot and Equalizer Systems.

I have to check on which system i have, but funny story. So leaving Summit Point last year I could feel the rear tire on truck was having an issue. It became severe and knew a blowout was about to happen. I pulled into a rest stop and instead of unhooking everything and jacking up the rear of the truck, i put a block under the jack and lifted the truck rear end up and tire off the ground. It was like a Nascar pitstop and I was underway in 15 total minutes.

I've got hydraulic on our 44' stacker. It's good. Just be sure you have a way to recharge the battery that drives the hydraulic pump.
I've had mine go dead twice and having to hand-crank when I could have pressed a switch.

(and yes Jwasilko) make sure that battery is charged....i keep a tender on mine when in storage and my generator charges it when it is in use at the track

Just to follow up, I just ordered a EqualizerSystems AM/24 unit. This is the unit that Bravo installs if you order as part of your build.
