Another happy RL'er picking up his 38'er at TPD today...
Attachment 704450
Jeez... these guys are making me feel so inadequate. I've just got a TAG, not a manly gooseneck. And even worse, mine is a wimpy 24'er.

Well, it is "lab white" and so clean you could eat off the floor!
Seriously, it's just fantastic! Enjoy it for many years to come. Then... put an awning on it and park it next to my rig. :-)

This is killing me! Congrats DRL!
I thought I was going to be the happy new owner of a 24' this weekend. Talked to the dealer Saturday afternoon, gave him an offer and said I will put a deposit down right now. He said that should work but he has to confirm with the manager so he will call me back. Called back later in the day to get an update and reiterate that I am willing to put a deposit or the whole damn thing on my CC, said he still hadn't talked to the manager but that he has my number on his desk and will call me as soon as hears Get a call from him the next morning saying it's been sold and that somebody else that was originally interested finally gave them a deposit. Such BS. That's why I dislike salesman. Anyway, sorry for the rant, just had to get it out as I'm still frustrated! The hunt continues...

Boostin, that totally sucks. I feel your pain, man.
If you choose the TPD route, you'll not have to endure such shenanigans. They make each one to order. But the wait is quite painful! 3 weeks to go for my delivery! Woo hoo!!!

Boostin,
I have a friend that has a 26' TPD for sale. Triple axle and it is in very good shape. Less than $10K if I remember. Is a 1999 or 2000 but is in good shape. Ist stored in Arizona. If interested PM your phone number and I will get you the info. TPDs are the only way to go. Good luck on yor search.

Well I am definitely getting a TPD but as much as I want to do the baller mooty, 24, DRJ, PJ, etc route with a new trailer, it's just not in the cards at the moment. A nice used one will tide me over until I can afford to move to the big boy set up.

Well I finally pulled the trigger on a 20' TPD today. Will be picking it up this weekend and hopefully giving it a nice detail. I figured if I didn't pull the trigger quickly I'll just keep missing them. While a 24' would be ideal, it's probably best to start with a 20', see how I like it, see how the truck pulls it, etc. and then go from there. If a nice 24' comes up, well then I might just have to buy it and put this one up for sale. At least I won't be without a trailer in the meantime!
Alright, I'll stop side tracking the thread so 24 can keep on with his great dairy!

It Stands Erect
Todays progress photos show the frame is now "standing". It should be ready to go into the paint booth tomorrow or Monday.
This pic shows the 3 e-track singles on the framing. Two of these singles will support the two shoring beams that will be used as a tire rack above the nose of the car, while the single at the center top is for a ratchet strap to secure them.
