Do you keep the car stored in the trailer? It looks like it might be a little tight there to open the rear gate and roll out the car in order to work on it. Can you do that, or do you roll out the car before you park there?

Big house - ha! It's a small house with a big 2 car garage and we're on the corner. Instead of a back yard I have the trailer pad.
I always roll the car out before parking the trailer because I spend a lot of time working on the racecar. Also, the distance from the back of the trailer to the fence is about 4 feet.

It's Fully Painted!
Today's progress pictures show the frame is now fully painted. The composite panels (outer skin and roof) will go on next. The two brackets in the second photo are to secure my gas (nitrogen) cylinder.
If you look closely at the framing, you can see the holes for all the wiring, as well as the attachment brackets for the sway control/weight distribution hitch that have been welded onto the tongue.

24 - are you having an electric tongue jack installed? See it has manual on it now but not sure if that's temporary while they build the trailer or if that's what you're ultimately going with. If the latter, may I ask why? I just had my first experience with an electric jack and am in love!!

Sheeting Is On!
Plastic sheeting, that is. The floor deck has been sanded and the walls have been masked off, now it's ready to get a bed liner coating for the floor and rear gate. It will be sprayed on Friday and then left to cure over the weekend.

ah, so scorpion is differnet than rhino, reflex or linex. the latter three cure fast. at 1min they are 75% hardened. at 24 hours, they are at full strength.
trailer is looking good, buddy. very nice.

Yeah, I wondered about that too (curing time). I was surprised that you were waiting for yours, and were going to drive it off immediately after spraying. I would have expected it to be more like auto paint and need at least 48 hours of cure time.

Well it is getting the same mounting for the hose reel as your trailer (thank-you). So they are almost twinsies...
