Any recommendations for trailer sway control hitches to buy? To avoid? The guy in this YouTube video prefers WeighSafe and B&W, thought I’d check in with this crowd to see if there were other thoughts/recommendations?

Thanks for the suggestion. For some reason, the link you provided isn’t working but I’ll keep trying

I've used equalizer before. Worked very well. Without it the steering would get a little light when passing a semi. With the equalizer it felt much more stable.

Note that weight distribution hitches and anti-sway add-ons are very different. Are you having a problem? The first thing to get right is tongue weight.
I've got a "Reese 12K Trailer Weight Distribution Hitch" for a 24' Featherlight enclosed trailer behind a Chevy 2500 and like it.

Right nothing of this kind on a Trailex.
And generally not advised on a unibody SUV like a Cayenne.

I have had huge success with my Anderson WDH hitches. I have owned the same one 10 years now and added 2 additional setups for other trailers. I did have to buy an new ball setup as they changed the style of the wings but it was time anyhow. I have used it on 4 different trucks and all of them it made a huge difference. I have owned my 28' ATC since 2018 and have only pulled it a few times without and let me tell you it is night and day.

I towed for many years with a Blue Ox Sway Pro hitch. It worked very well for me and I recommend it. The key is proper setup and using the right size sway bars for your application.
Many people swear by Pro Pride hitches, but they’re very expensive. I don’t have any personal experience with Pro Pride.
