I am amazed how you can visibly see the truck squatting with the weight of the empty trailer considering how high the payload of that truck is. In any event, looks like you need a higher hitch ball - that looks like a recipe for scrape city over transitions.

That said, what a gorgeous setup - enjoy in good health!

Yes, the hitch ball was too low. I have others that allow the trailer to sit higher.

The truck barely squatted in the rear when we put the load on the hitch.

As it sits now I wouldn't go over any speed bumps or RR crossings.
