Default break-away battery charger

Any recommendations for a decent break-away battery charger? I had a Teknosha 2024-07, a few years old, that started blowing the battery charge fuse in my tow vehicle. Replaced it with another 2024-07-S that worked for one day, now appears dead.

Put solar on the roof. Or on top of tongue toolbox if a TAG. I have almost 600 watts of solar on my trailer roof. No worries.

Open trailer, might take some skill to arrange! What means "TAG," and can you point me toward a kit or instructions for such a set-up? Thanks!

I put a small 20W solar panel on the roof. It is enough to keep my battery that runs the electric jack and interior lights fully charged in between trips. Before I put it on, my battery would die routinely by the next trip. I didn't want to put holes in the roof, so I used 3M super strong double sided tape to mount it, and a BATTERYMINDER EZ CONNECTOR WITH 4...

up high on the side wall to connect it to the battery. Been 4 years, it's still there.

Uni Solar panels came from Amazon, peel and stick and they really do stick. Not sure if still available.

TAG=Bumper pull. You will need a small setup complete with charge controller. Amazon will have something.
