WTB open trailer, preferably Futura
Interested in a Futura lowering trailer preferably within 500mi of the SF Bay Area. Open to other options like ATC, featherlite, trailex for low profile vehicles if close by.

Its a 2021 that is 2 months old. I found an enclosed trailex after looking for a while so now I will be selling the Futura.
Its the ProSport model that is 19'8"
BUT I am on east coast in VA.

I've been looking for a new or useed Futura for several months now. They are like unicorns. Best option right now for me is local dealer says end of August for a new one. I would buy the VA one in 2 minutes if I didn't live 2000 miles away.

For those that have one, is the Super Sport (16') sufficient or is a Pro Sport (19') the one to get? Futura says the 16' is the most popular for GT2/3/4 owners.
but my friend advises getting a longer trailer for more flexibility in managing tongue weight.

yep. I pull the car up to about 3 inches from the guard and it’s good. I haven’t tried backing it on to see how that works but I imagine it would probably give you even more room to work with

Do you have a tire rack and do you load the rack with wheels/tires? That would put more weight on the tongue.

yeah, but I think if I didn’t I would just back the car on and it would still be fine without needing the longer trailer. Here’s a pic of my car loaded up on the 16’ with about 11% tongue weight. If I backed it on I don’t think that putting it in the same position would put me over 15%, and there’s about a foot of room to work with if it was too close for comfort.

Did you list the Futura for sale yet? If not, I might be interested and I'm local to you.
