I would look for the models that have a built-in wind sensor and can stow themselves when the wind exceeds some configurable threshold. I thought I had a link to that model, but can't find it now.

While I like the simplicity of the awning I have (Dometic), I would prefer the scissors-type or folding legs that don't need to attach at the bottom of the trailer or on the ground. And can be put out or in at the touch of a button!

The ones EzUP sells are very heavy-duty and will last many seasons. Those on offer from Amazon don't impress me.

I saw those..but man, the prices goes up!! How do you have yours mounted? I naturally don't trust wind sails at the track...was going to through bolt through the entire length of the trailer.

I purchased my awning as part of the trailer, so TPD in Sacramento did the installation. It’s been rock solid since new. I’ve only washed it once.

Whatever you get, strap it down. Don’t bother lugging sandbags around. Get 4 plastic 5 gallon plastic jugs and fill them with water at the track and strap the EZUP to them.

The Eclipse model is the one we've used for years. 10x15 works well, 10x20 is good also they just get heavy, like real heavy as you get bigger. for a 1 car small traler operation a 10 x 15 works.j

They sell them with the aluminum frame. I have been using a 10x20 for the last 4 years. It is still heavy with aluminum, but movable

Nice trailer! But it looks naked without an awning.

My spare wheels only weigh 20 lbs each. A 5 gal jug comes in at 40+ lbs which you’ll need in windy weather.
