Best advice I can give anyone is run the other way.

I had a Taycan Cross Turismo for 22 months and drove 28k miles. Dealership service was pathetic. Lost 40% upon trade in.

2nd and last Porsche.

Loved the drive but didn’t like dealing with the dealer.

Cheers!

I was considering a CPO, but after reading this thread about all the incentives, I'm now thinking about leasing as a better option. Regarding all the various incentives, I checked my local dealer's website and no mention of any. Is there some Porsche doc/publication that details these?

The incentives mentioned here are often state (i.e. CA) and dealer dependent.

guess you never leased or bought a large German sedan before. Par for the course.

so what replaced it? Lexus hybrid?

If I had to take the depreciation hit, I'd rather have a Lucid Air (leased of course).

they have a showroom just down road from us that I wander into when I'm at that shopping center, and quite a few around here. can't get behind that car, looks especially. I'd rather dump it on the porsche.

It's like burning fire.

Reminds me of when I used to buy BMW 5 series sedans, but at least BMW had crazy good lease program support so it made them cheap to own.

Yeah, I wish the dealer network for Lucid was better

Legacy automakers definitely have a leg up on this.

But the Lucid, despite the fact it looks like a 1970s sofa from your grandparents living room, drives like a charm.

All else being equal, I would take an Air over a Taycan any day of the week. But as it is, all else is not equal. At least not yet.

Maybe they lease well but you'll see similar levels of depreciation...

Honestly, it's the looks. Really, the looks.

Maybe I should drive one... the showroom keeps begging me.

I do LOVE The way the Taycan drives.

The metal roof and Stealth trim package makes a very positive influence on the ‘looks’.

I really wish the difference in seat colours front & rear would become an option and that having the same colour was the norm.

But personally I think it’s a gorgeous vehicle.

I think it looks like a 90s Buick LeSabre :-)

I can tell you from first hand knowledge that the Lucid is a very good car, a worthy car to consider, that offers great performance and incredible range.

however one thing that Lucid can't match is the ride that only a porsche can deliver.

I am pulling the hair out of my head because no matter what I do I cannot seem to find a good seat position for driving the lucid.

Can you explain this further?
