Default First Porsche

Always wanted a Porsche. Just signed paperwork for a 2021 CT4. Currently out of state and will picked up next week by the transport company. Won't seem real until it is in my driveway.

Thanks! It's mamba green with black off-road 20" wheels. Been driving the family SUV for the last 12 years, will be great to be back in a nice handling fast car.

Transport scheduled for end of next week. The wait is gonna kill me. What should I get for it or do to it first? Here is a picture.

I just went through this but received mine real quick. Go buy some rubber mats and trunk liner and some leather cleaner for it.

I’d ask a different question. “What should it do for you?” Answer would be: take a long, long drive. By yourself.

Congrats and enjoy! After your long drive, I’d consider changing the side markers to clear, and tint all the way around (if legal in your state). The Taycan CT has a lot of glass and it can get hot and bright in the vehicle. Drive the heck out of it and enjoy.

+1 don’t do anything until you put 1000 miles on it. Then next week you can start modifying

I completely agree. It is sad/manic/not smart, (chose the adjective) why do we start modifying our cars the from the first day of ownership? First, we spend days/weeks/months "build your own Porsche." Then we get the car, we want make changes.

Maybe "personalizing" it?

Agreed. My idea of things to do were more like new floor/trunk mats, tint and maybe clear side markers. The rest of the car is amazing so far.
