Anyone else have a Taycan sitting at the German port for a while?
I have a Taycan GTS ST that arrived at the German port on 5/2 and was supposed to be on a ship on 5/22. The car is still here and my TYD still shows that it'll be on a ship on 5/22. What's holding things up now?

I don’t actually have any real useful information to add just speculation. Maybe it is the usual, mysterious shipping logistics, however, I just recently had a 911 sail through the port so something seems different. My CT4 has been there since 4/20. Like you was supposed to ship out 5/22. No dice. Take this with a large grain of salt but rumblings on the Taycan forum regarding a recent stop sale have to do with a production run issue on some vehicles. I don’t know if it’s true or not—obviously not something Porsche would want to broadcast, but whatever the issue cars have to have some data sent back to Germany to be released for sale. There was some speculation that it had to do with an issue regarding sealing the battery pack from water intrusion. People were saying cars had to sit around 50 days to see if the issue arose. So, my speculation is my car is sitting while they can move cars they can actually sell. Honestly, who knows, but I’m just sharing what I have read over the past few weeks. If anyone else has further details or alternate explanations please chip in!

Yea, me too. Got the update today for a 7/5 departure from Emden. We’ll see if that sticks. Arrival at the dealership is now 8/4 for me. I placed my demand order back in January and my allocation for the CT4 popped up pretty quick, which made me wonder if someone backed out. Anyway, it was originally scheduled for delivery 6/1.

I received an interesting update in track your dream this morning. It now says my CT4 has arrived at the German port once again. It originally said that on 4/20, but now says 6/7. I assume it got parked somewhere else. Interestingly, this is exactly 50 days following production completion for me on 4/18. So, this seems to lend a bit of credibility to the “let’s see if if self destructs in 50 days” rumblings, ha! Mine still shows a departure out of Embden scheduled for 7/5. The ball at least seems to rolling again.

Same for ours, been stuck at the German port for a while now. I love the update emails “your Porsche has reached a new stage, click here to learn more!” Click, and the new stage: 1 more month of delay! I agree with other comments about this likely being related to the stop-sale.
Still waiting, but went and picked up an RS3 yesterday to fill the gap…

The Turbo S had nutty torque, almost gave me whiplash with the launch control demo.

Ours completed manufacturing 4/12, and has been at the port since around 4/15 where it continues to sit. Not the most reassuring that cars manufactured later are passing through the port while ours still sits. Scheduled date to leave the port is now 7/5, but that has been pushed so many times I don’t trust any timeline they give.
