Taycan is a pretty big car and heavier than similar teslas, so they will do a little better on eco.
Yeah that insta-torque on demand is fun, never had a car with so much low end power. The car does so smooth at speed on the open highway, even going around 100mph it feels like you are cruising at 50-60mph.

Indeed, I don't miss the $100 fill ups for the Macan. I already have close to 3,500 miles.

Probably should start a poll and see what the average is. With 1,500 miles and fairly conservative driving I'm at 3.3 miles/kWh. Best was 3.9 worst was 2.1 (had to launch it and see how it felt at inadvisable speeds). This was all northern Florida relatively warm temps. As a point of comparison my 2020 Tesla Model S Performance has averaged 3.7 miles/kWh with some NJ winter temps and some Fl. The Taycan isn't terribly inefficient and may improve with a few more miles but Porsche has some catching up to do.

its really no different than a gas car, there are a lot of variables - the one probably bigger variable with EV is weather, as the heater uses a fair bit of energy. Generally the ~200mi range porsche publishes is a sort of worst case scenario.

Rain significantly increases rolling resistance, same temperature commute at 62 MPH average dry was 3.3miles/kWh, but wet was 2.7miles/kWh and arrived home with 4%/8miles left.

So rain reduces mileage...interesting.

Consumption would've been even higher if it had rained the whole 190 mile trip, the last 32% it was only drizzling.

Another data point for a CT4: 2 hours drive time, 31mph average speed, 58 mile distance, 2.7 mi/kwh
Mix of local and freeway driving, freeway speeds 75-80mph, some hills, up and down, some flat. Temp low 70s

This has been pretty consistent for me, just 'driving' normal in Socal is in the 2.7-8 range. Less when cold, less when hooning it.

In rough numbers, with usable capacity of the larger battery of about 87kwh, at 2.7mi/kw puts miles at 235 which is what my guess o meter says at full charge, the few times I've done 100% charge.
