Found a 3000 pound trailer and wondering is the Taycan can tow this? I currently daily a 718 Boxster S but thinking about switching things up.
If it could tow, it great help make my wife happy with a potential purchase.

I think towing will completely destroy the range (see for example the many articles / videos on the F150 Lightning and the terrible range it gets when towing). EVs are not a good solution for towing if you're expecting to be able to go anywhere near to the car's typical range without charging.

weight is one of many factors for towing, i doubt the wheelbase on a taycan is long enough to tow a flat trailer that can fit a boxster. physics are a hell of a thing

From what I understand the Taycan is not spec'd for towing from Porsche.

it might tow just fine, but range is going to go into the absolute toilet - no way it goes very far - and fastCharging stalls typically are not "pull through" so - stopping to charge will require disconnecting/parking the trailing to charge it…towing with an EV is a PITA - no question.
