Default Taycan prices

How are the Taycan prices these days? Paying msrp or over/under? For those in the know, should we expect discounts and price drops soon? I’m seeing there’s a lot of delay in deliveries.

Discounts and price drops are very unlikely. There’s more demand than supply and still production “issues”.The Best Buy currently are used 2020 Turbo’s. Allocations for new are extremely limited.

I paid 5% under MSRP for my new PtS turbo S in march but my dealer tells me I’m special

My experience: I wouldn’t own a 2020. Sold mine after one month. Dealer bought it for the same price as sold.

Too many glitches. New platform/model for Porsche

Dr G, I don’t know what issues you’ve had with yours but our 2020 has been flawless so far. We have 4 other friends with 2020s and outside of a creaky steering wheel no one has had an issue.

Cheers,
F6L.

Same here. Although we bought our 2020 Turbo in 2021 as a demonstrator (albeit with no mileage), so it would have had any TSBs and software updates done by the dealer. Regardless, it was flawlessly reliable, not even a software glitch. We paid $40k Canadian under the MSRP at the time. To the OP: when we traded it in, we got a nominal discount on our GTS ST, and the dealer paid us more for the Turbo than we originally paid.
