Default Taycan stuck in Emden?

Hey all... Our Taycan arrived in Emden back on 6/7/22 and hasn't found a ship bound for Houston yet. One definitely left today, 7/14/22 and presumably there was also an earlier ride available. TYD now reports the car will leave on 7/29/22 which seems like an absurd amount of time to queue at the port.

Has anyone else experienced similar delays with the Taycan or other cars under production? I'm also watching 992 deliveries on Rennlist, nobody has reported a similar delay.

My Spyder is sitting there since late May. It seems that many built Porsche vehicles were simply pushed back to the 7/29 date you mentioned.

Friend of mine has a Macan GTS stuck in Emden due a dockworkers strike. He had a Macan GTS on the boat that sunk. If it weren't for bad luck, my poor friend would not have any luck at all.

Not sure what's worse, having a car 98-99% build complete and sitting at the factory waiting for a 1-2 parts for months or having a car sitting at the port for months.

we had our '21 CT4 stuck at the factory all last summer.
gave up on it (dealer agreed to refund deposit) and we ordered an identical '22 same dealer
the '22 arrived before the '21
go figure

My CT4S has been in Emden since 4/12 with no end in sight. It’s the Burmester amp. Trying to track here: https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/th...-thread.11820/

I'm a little confused. I have burmester on my order. Arrived at Emden 6/30. Wouldn't they load it on the ship at that point regardless and ship the amp overseas after?

yes, most people in this situation have their car stuck at the dealership for months. We unlucky few have our 150k cars sitting outside in the salty air probably getting flat spots in the tires and damaging the battery

I found https://maritime-executive.com/artic...ion-in-decades in another thread, speaks to the ongoing delays loading ships.

Default Glovis Sunlight departed Emden w/my Taycan TS

Hello all,
As of early this morning the TYD status of my Turbo S changed from Milestone 8 (at the port) to Milestone 9. She is on the ro-ro Glovis Sunlight, currently steaming through the English Channel on the way to Panama. Scheduled to arrive Mill Valley CA 9/9. There is hope!!!

Unhappy Taycan 4S stuck at San Diego Port

Hello all,
does anyone have a Taycan 4s stock at the US port and not getting released at this time. My Taycan was produced on 6/3/22, was at Emden on 6/8/22, got onto ship on 6/30/22 and arrived to San Diego on 7/30/22. The car is now in Port processing and has not been released for 17 days now. The TYD appt had estimated arrival date 8/5/22, now based. Is anyone in similar situation and how can I get the information on why they will not release the car, as well as expected arrival. Dealership does not know, Porsche of NA also have no information, port does not give out information (yes, I called). Any ideas?

Thanks
