I'm in V170 status right now supposedly with a September build date.
Congrats on yours- will be interested in hearing some first impressions. Sure hope the ride height is due to shipping blocks or something to that effect in the suspension!! That seems higher than a CT!!

Probably in Lift mode so as not to scrape anything underneath while the car is being unloaded from the transporter.

That looks like it has a metal roof with no sunroof. I don't want the roof rails but definitely don't want a sunroof. My salesman said sunroof delete wasn't possible here... 997.1 GT3 all over again? Can you confirm no sunroof??

Doubt it, no Cross Turismo/Sport Turismo bound for the US gets the option of a solid metal roof unfortunately, they force everyone to get the glass roof.
Correct. I would have deleted the glass roof if it was possible to do so.

bluelines1974 - great choice of Taycan! Looking forward to hearing your thoughts when you’ve driven it for a bit.

I was at my dealer this morning, my SA pulled me over to a newly arrived Taycan Turbo S, Sport Turismo in GB - very sharp. Posting a pic for ride height comparison.
Pretty rare seeing ST's in my neck of the woods. I’ll try to get a pic of my recently picked up 2022 Panamera GTS Sport Turismo in GB next to the Taycan Turbo S.
The Turbo S in your pics is a Cross Turismo - it does not look like we will be getting anything other than the GTS in Sport Turismo configuration in North America.

Assuming the supply chain mess, and pretty much everything going on in the US and elsewhere right now, if ours gets delivered by the end of December I'll be surprised. Yeah I'm pissed too you can't delete the sunroof (or moonroof in this case) in the USA. Can't see any reason for it. Just like the 997.1 GT3, probably 80% of the people getting one of those didn't want it...
If the "moonroof" lets in too much light, or heat, I might try and find a chalk wrap material and just cover the damned thing!!

Im assuming you mean for the MY 2022. I've a demand order in place for a MY 23 GTS ST and on the Porsche website Im able to build mine with the metal roof.

Interesting as mine would be a 2023 as well it is supposed to be a September build. Supposedly my salesman did some research and was told we couldn't delete it. When I build mine on the website it also doesn't show a sunroof but the salesman said that is a mistake as it shows a euro model in the picture... the saga continues.

This is my guess: Your salesman knows / or thinks that a car with a sunroof is more easy to sell. So he is protecting himself in case you dont take delivery of the car.
It dosnt make any sense that the US version of the site's config would show Euro options. In fact, ive spoken to many Porsche dealers and have shared my build with them, and none of them raised any alarms regarding the sunroof delete. My advice, get a second opinion.
Not sure on your location but in the US there is a bug in the configurator display: If you build a GTS ST first time through it always shows the glass roof no matter the configuration. When you come back and view the Porsche code again it displays it with the metal roof. If you configure the same car again from scratch the sunroof will be there until you load the Porsche Code at which point the bug will present itself again. The salesmen are probably aware of this which is why they aren’t concerned about your configuration because they know it will come with a glass roof no matter what the configurator displays. It’s also listed in the standard features (under “Body” section) for the GTS ST on the US site while not for the sedan GTS.
