For those that have owned their Taycan for longer than 6 months, tell me which Taycan model you have and how satisfied you are? I am seriously considering buying one but worried I will get bored of the silence.

RWD owner here. I have the sport sound and it makes up for the silence! Gives it some driving character.
I'm happy enough that I'm going to order a 2023 in PTS Guards Red.

I have the Cross Turismo 4, love it. Everything works, have the sports chrono, no other need for me than the electric whooosh of a space machine. I have a 928 GTS if I want the ICE sound. But the CT is very fun.

2021 RWD w/sport chrono. Took delivery Q2 2021. LOVE the car. The best sports sedan daily duty machine for sure - even comes in wagon form!
(Close second ICE: M5 or E-class) No sports sound, just pure driving enjoyment.
Only complaint is wireless charging pad in console overheats the phone quickly - no ventilation. Good news is the rear seat charge ports provide insanely fast charging - so I use them.
OP: silence is a good thing. We as a society have just been accustomed to having a ICE in our transportation for 100+ years. Listen, I love my 911 and the symphony that is a Carrera GT. The Taycan proves how the heritage and DNA instilled in Porsche doesn't go away just because the gasoline engine isn't there.

'21 RWD, took delivery Sept 2021. 2k miles. Love the car and I enjoy the electric sport sound. Different, but replaces the sound of an ICE. You even hear it going into 2nd gear and what sounds like a downshift. The negative is the PCM and Apple Carplay and the radio fighting each other at start up. Short drive and sometimes you are messing with the radio and the interior alarm goes off, but they have a fix for it. Oh and the auto present of the door handles on occasion will just not present (even when touching the door handle) and you have to yank out the key. I think it relates to how the car was locked. Lock it and get your mail and walk back by the car and it unlocks as it senses your key nearby and then relocks itself is when it seems to happen to me.

"tell me which Taycan model you have"
2020. 4S.
Must have Performance plus battery, adaptive cruise and Lane Change Assist. Taycan Lane Keep Assist is a joke.
"I am seriously considering buying one but worried I will get bored of the silence."
Thermal/acoustic glass insulation would have been really nice. Even though electric, huge horseless carriage run-flat (ugh) tires are noisy; especially on some third world roads. (Read MS/LA/AL/AR)
Unlike gas, must plan longer trip. Hotel facility: must have charger. Sometimes one hour full charge. Chargers might be in isolated locations. Chargers out in the weather (i.e. no canopy) if raining, get ready to get drenched.
Some chargers kaput. Be ready to charge at 20% charge
Car is "few" millimeters from the ground. Parking lot/ Charger station concrete barriers will scrape the bottom; where the sensors, some oil coolers etc. are located. Of course.
Charger cable and plug (especially the CCS 350kWh) weigh a ton. Not for the faint-hearted. Now add plug covered in water.
"How happy are you"
Ecstatic. Just Ecstatic. Best car ever.

It is becoming increasing clear as time moves on that this is a Porsche problem not a dealer problem. Porsche factory tech has finally started to move under threat of litigation. No parts were replaced, nothing done by my dealer and yesterday the car became connected to the Porsche server. They just failed to provide the support that was needed.

I have an RWD 2021 Frozen Blue with 15k miles and 11 months.I love this car; it is my daily drive and is giving me 296 miles per full charge. My only complaint is the lack of Lane Change Assistant, which I forgot to add (my 1st Porsche, btw).I currently locked a GTS, same color, a few more options. Hopefully, I will get the same range since my RWD has taken me from Florida to the Midwest multiple times without any issue.

That’s great…Did you order the GTS for the added acceleration and handling?
