Wonder if / when they're going to bring the other variants of the Sport Tourismo out?

Not blown away by the GTS. A little more power, RaceTex, the fugly sport front bumper, and some special sound? But then I've never really understood the GTS trim package on any Porsche. To me it just always seems like a discounted option package, with a healthy dollop of fake suede thrown in to make people think they're buying a racier car than they really are. And I think Chrysler called and wants their wheels back.

The GTS Configurator is up. I was worried, since I have a highly-performance-optioned 4S about to lock. Turns out the GTS does not include all of the performance options (PSV+ for instance). I certainly would appreciate the suspension tuning, but that is a LOT of Race-tex on the inside, and last but not least...
My configuration was $19k MORE ($169k) than my very well optioned 4S ($150k). That's a lot for the PD clock, suspension tuning, 30hp, and an interesting sunroof shading effect.
In the past, the 911 4S with the power pack and various performance options was more $ than the equivalent GTS, so it was a bargain. It does not appear to be that this time.

Also, having driven a Taycan a bit, the car isn't in need of a sportier suspension (once you have it low). The thing handles like an absolute masterpiece. Stiffer might not actually add value.
Im also not sure about the lack of cladding. I order mine with the gravel pack because it reminds me of an aero kit and looks good on a lowered car. Each to their own, but I was really worried I'd have tons of regrets when I saw the GTS and I dont.

A lot of times, Porsche puts that secret sauce in the mix over a normal "S" trim. That was the case with the 991.2 T. I'd rather have one of those vs. an S. It felt much more 911-like. Whatever the small changes Porsche made that they didn't really tell you about, they worked.
Won't know about this one until you drive it but yeah, not a fan of the sport bumper and the added cost seems like a bit of an over reach.

Huge difference with Cayenne vs. base and S trims. I ordered a '21 GTS last year. It's incredible how much better and driver-oriented it is overall. With electric cars the jump wont be as drastic engine wise - just turning the juice up a bit. GTS tuned PASM is great. Good news is the large battery is standard.

I think this photo was a mistake by the marketing department.
They shouldn't be showing it on gravel.
Next thing you know, they will have pics of it with the bike rack and e-bike too

I think the big news on the GTS is the added range. They are quoting over 500KM, or 300 miles. Still waiting for more info, but that is significantly more than the other models.

If it has the same battery, it won't have any more range than the Turbo. More than likely it's a range improvement across the line. And the others do 275 miles, so it's not that big a delta and could easily be a mid cycle improvement.
