Taycan as a daily driver

I’ve had my TTS for 2.5 mo and put >2500mi on it. My 85mi each way commute is done only once a week but that’s enough to appreciate WHAT A GREAT ROAD CAR THIS IS!
ACC a MUST for the inevitable slowdowns in heavy traffic at known pinch points (mostly highway driving, some city).
I’m average size (5’10”, 180#) so cabin size not an issue for me. But I have lower back issues so the 18way seats are fabulous once you get them dialed in.
I love my 2018 991.2 GTS cab but the smooth quiet, ACC, and ability to use the HOV lane make the Taycan the commuter choice hands down. Unless it’s a perfect sunny day and then it’s top down! BTW the cab has the 18way sport seats so those are dialed in for me, too.
I have L2 AC chargers at each end of my commute so I have yet to experience roadside charging.
Only drawback I can think of is the fact that this car is wickedly quick and goes from mild to wild with no sound announcing blast-off, so one must be that much more vigilant regarding the constabulary, who would be only too willing to issue a Performance Award in recognition of your hyperspeed antics on public roads.

I use my 21 RWD as a DD. I spec'd air suspension and love the ride. Long drives are fine. I have been at this for almost two years now. Not much to add to other folks, except for one point. If you have orthopedic issues, I suggest that you try to spend some time with the car. Ingress/Egress is a PIA, clearly worse than any 911 I have owned. I have found that I am good for about two straight weeks of driving it, averaging 4-6 ingress/egress per day. At about the two week mark, my left knee starts to ache and my back is screaming. I have attributed it to the difficulty in getting in and out of the car. The B pillar placement is just not great. I switch to my Durango RT for a few days and am good as new. Switch back to the Taycan and start the process all over again. I am 5'11 about 175.

The Taycan is an excellent daily driver - quiet, smooth, and unbelievably comfortable even over imperfect pavement. And the quiet makes listening to music or joining a Zoom conference a joy on a long trip.
For your commute, you will need several hours of Level2 charging at work every day. I imagine you charging to 85% at home, yielding say 160-200 miles of range, driving 100 miles to work, and then adding say 50-75 miles of range by charging at work during the day - keeping your charge/discharge range extremely gentle/conservative every day for maximum battery life. Assuming you can do that, you have a great solution.

I’ve seen a car I like that has been for sale since June. Think a cheeky offer before Xmas could get it.
With the suspension being adjustable I’m guessing one could be set up for road use in U.K.?
Our roads are crap compared to USA.

I use my 2021 as a daily driver and could not be more comfortable and happy. It's amazing on the highway - even more so than my 970 Panamera Turbo. I'm 6' 3" 200lbs. and I have to say that the 14 or 18 way seat option is a MUST for us tall people. I've been driving a loaner 4S for the past 2 months with standard 8-way seats and the lack of cushion extension and bolster really has a negative effect on comfort especially longer road trips.

I just got my RWD T 5 days ago and haven’t begun commuting in it yet as my appointment for full front PPF is not until 1/24, but I have driven at a pretty good clip on bad roads and even without air and chassis in Sport Plus, the ride is sublime.
If that’s not supple enough there is even more comfort with chassis in Normal or Sport so not sure air is needed for T to be a comfortable commuter. It seems Porsche’s standard adaptive suspension is better than BMWs in the 840i which is what I traded in. It stayed in Sport Individual most of the time where I had chassis in comfort. Only when I wanted to get a little jiggy with it did I put into Sport Plus.
