Portable charger recommendations

For what ever it’s worth, when I switched out my Leviton 14-50 outlet for a Hubbell 14-50 outlet, my Porsche charger ran cooler, especially the cable from the outlet to the charger.

I had been using the PMCC plugged into a 14-50 Hubble outlet, ramped down to 32A even before the plug recall, and it has always run cool to the touch. Queried PCNA for their opinion on whether it’s safe to use in this configuration, but I expect to get an answer from the legal department and not an engineer 😏.
So the Tesla UMC Gen 2 with adapter is my go-to while I wait on the replacement plug. Way under the $600 PCNA will reimburse, so that’s another plus and the Tesla UMC gets great reviews.
