Anyone heard of a “stop sale” on these due to a rear seat issue?? Just got word from my sister that one she had closed a deal for (at Soouthhampton Porsche) was later said to be unavailable it a recall is resolved. Seemed fishy & I googled it (saw nothing) so I thought I would ask here. Thanks in advance

No. Mine just cleared port processing in the US and will be arriving at the dealership tomorrow. No recalls or "open campaigns" reported and if an open recall the dealership would have been notified (weren't) and it would have been held at the port.

There is a major recall (as of a few weeks ago). I'm also hearing that some models/features are being affected by the chip shortage. Not sure if any of those issues would have caused your delay, but given all of the things going on, it's possible. Also, with tight inventory, I've seen a couple of dealerships give away build slots from one customer to another - which they really shouldn't do. Hopefully not the case for you here.
Thanks for the replies everyone - the exact code is “Reprogram power electronics“ but there’s no remedy yet so the car has to sit until campaign is resolved.
