Default Audi E-Tron GT / RS Version to have just a bit less performance than a Taycan Turbo

https://www.cnet.com/roadshow/news/a...cs-horsepower/

OFFICIAL AUDI PRESS KIT INFO - Includes high res photos and several videos.

ETron GT in RS form to have 590 HP / 646 in Overboost.
Taycan Turbo has 616 HP / 670 in Overboost.

Not bad. Same exact pack / size as the Taycan's larger pack.

Wonder how this will be priced? I'm looking forward to seeing it without the camo, as it looks really attractive to me. Maybe even more so than the Taycan? Hard to tell with the camo on it. If the ETron GT RS is priced like a Taycan 4S....watch out. One's thing for sure, the overall sales price will certainly be lower as there isn't nearly the amount of customization / options to chose in an Audi as there is in a Porsche. At least historically.

Hmmm...

I agree it may actually look better....but it does look like basically a Taycan....my guess is the interior is a Taycan interior which is why they can't show it.

That is exciting. It does appear that the tailgate opens more like a hatchback which is great. Wish the Taycan had come that way, but likely whole glass roof prevented that approach. It certainly seems to have many similarities with the Taycan visually, but still enough to look slightly different. Great work.

He said the base model will be around $100,000 pounds and the RS will be around $130,000 pounds in the UK. The Taycan 4S starts at $83,000 pounds, Turbo starts at $116,000 pounds and the Turbo S $139,000 pounds. So that implies it will cost roughly the same as the Taycan. Not really a discount.

I think the interior is essentially going to be the same as the A6 / A7 with some ETron touches.

But we will see! I certainly haven't watched the videos yet to try to make an educated guess.

I find it hard to believe that Audi will price this right on top of the Taycan. Until we have firm specs in hand, I won't at all even think about pricing. Sure, the Turbo starts at $116 pounds. But where are most of the average selling prices?

Nah, no sense worrying about that yet.

Looking at the high-res photos of the rear, I think 100% it's going to be the same setup as the Taycan. Trunk and all. Look at the below photos. All the major parts line up. The faux window, the trunk opening overall, the deployable spoiler, etc. Looks nearly identical.

Edit, just watched the CarWow video and I was right, he opens the trunk. Same as Taycan. No hatch

My point is that in this prototype they just used the Taycan interior since they had the parts which is why they didn't wantnpictures....obviously production would be audi.

but if you take into account of options, then the Taycan will cost quite a bit more. Literally any Taycan will have at last 10k-15k in options, while Audis are mostly well equipped already and just some tiny options.
