It's another basically naive focus on only range. When QCing (DC charging) achieves a level of 10C (6 minutes) with a ubiquitous charging network,
the typical automotive consumer won't yawn when BEVs are mentioned as an alternative to ICEVs.

Both of my BEVs on average typically get 5.0 mi/kWh, or about 2.2 mi/Ah. A key factor is how one drives, besides vehicle efficiency.

You say Both BEV’s are they eTrons? My i3s gets 3.5 mi/kWh. And my past BEVs did that or better.

the eTron is city driving average speed 23mph in normal mode, full regen AC on

Sorry, my BEVs are not eTrons. Why have a BEV that carries unnecessary weight with a poor Cd? Just keep your ICEV and be happy.
My ego doesn't necessitate driving a particular vehicle. It's just about moving from A to B.

Probably should see a therapist if a man owning electric cars depresses you.

Depressing? No Not really. It just means I always have NEW cars to look forward to. For example by the end of 2020 and in early 2021 I will receive my Tesla Y, Ford Mustang Mach-E GT, & Rivian R1S. I have had over 20 ICE cars over the years sports cars SUVs etc., and do not miss any of them. Have not been to a gas station in over 5 years

Maybe a form of obsessive-complusiveness and/or an AGW advocate? I own two BEVs (CUV) and three ICEVs (1-SUV, 2-sport cars), and find utility/benefits in each.

What’s only having BEVs have to do with obsessive compulsiveness would you say that to someone who only has ICE cars and as for AGW what’s that got to do with liking EVs didn’t take you long to jump to that one. i am able to cover all my requirement with EVs and just currently don’t own any ICE cars my bikes are petrol but that’s is a different forum.

After picking up the Etron I no longer have an ICE in our garage, only 3 EV's (Leaf, Model X, and Etron). I don't have any plans on buying an ICE vehicle again. The only exception would be if I end up buying an older 911 at some point.

It's not depressing at all. It's actually extremely satisfying. Having a large solar array on our roof designed to support our home and three EV's, it's wonderful to no longer have a gas or electric bill and stopping for gas on a weekly basis.

This video shows almost exactly what I have experienced.

They tested several EV's to their maximum range until the battery was completely depleted.

Audi E-Tron hit 206 miles. Just above the EPA range.

Tesla Model 3 long range only hit 270 miles well below their EPA range of 322.

Their quoted percentages are based on the European tests not the EPA. FYI
