You may not believe this; but, I make every effort to reach the redline in 1-3 gears at every possible opportunity, with all my vehicles! I realize that's not how most drivers/riders, including enthusiasts, drive/ride. I am a loony on the fringe! To me, it's all about how often you get to the redline, as conditions permit.

Glad you get to see this side of your vehicles... I'm too chicken **** to push it that far... but I'm ok with that.

Donavon (sorry if misspelled), you are missing out! The magic happens in the last 1000 RPM. The symphony gets sweeter and addictive! Try it out, every once in a while. You will love it!

Yeah, this would be nice to get an update. I am so happy to be back in a snotty little 987.2 Spyder. I never think twice about relinquishing my 718 Spyder. The 987.2 is just such pure, unadulterated fun.

@kskpsu still rocking the 987?
If my memory is correct, he sold his 981 Spyder and purchased the silver 987 Spyder - it had around 3,000 miles on it and was perfect. I hesitated for a few days about buying it right before he bought it. He did buy a second 987 Spyder with more miles on it and owned both of them for a time. It says a lot that he bought a second 987 Spyder to drive guilt free. Hopefully @kskpsu can chime in and provide an update.

It would be great to hear from kskpsu as he’s a nice gentleman with great taste in cars.
