Wow, about time they decided to sell it! I test drove this car 3 months ago now when a friend insisted I consider the 987 Spyder. Despite being absurdly overpriced, the dealer was friendly and extremely accommodating when I asked to take it for a ride... Immediately following the drive, I knew I had to own the 987 Spyder, and a few weeks later, I did Had this car been priced right at the time, I would have likely taken it home on the spot. Someone definitely needs to snap it up!

I can't comment as to how reputable they are as business people, only that they were nice enough to speak with for a few minutes and allow me to take a somewhat extended test drive, free of any pushy sales tactics.

Yeah they were stubborn on the price point for a long long time. Price now seems about right. I guess only thing is getting carfax AND autocheck and if you know a porsche mechanic that could look at that would be great. Assuming it's not hiding a dark past it should be a great car. Geez it's jut barely broken in !

Three Wheelin'
I was helping a friend look for a Spyder about a year ago and we came across a Basalt ( like this one) that had some repaired damage and paint work on the driver's side rear quarter under the air intake. The car was with a different broker / dealer at the time.
I am not saying this is the car as I do not know. Only advising to check it out if interested.

But on that note I:
1. Now have LWBS and really don't care about heat. With the previous "Sofa" seats? Heat was woefully missing, so yes - you are correct that this is an enthusiast's car.
2. I have BOSE and rarely, if ever, listen to it. The engine sounds are so good with the PSE that I have no need. So again, yes, and enthusiast's car.
But the long and short of it is that a Spyder IS and enthusiast's car.

Ive looked at the car at CMC, and passes because it was rough for the miles.
the clear bra is awful, and who knows what lies under neath that. The front grills where the daytime running lights are were literally falling out. several chips. and the battery was dead so I couldn't open up the front or rear, and they weren't too interested in getting a jump box so I could... Id pass....
