As far as your last comment, it's funny how we all remember our firsts experience. My first foray into Porsches was a metallic light blue slant nose 911 Turbo with full widebody rear, 935 front bumper and 935 rocker panels. That image is burned into my mind since I was 9 years old.

The shims help reduce heat transfer from brake pads to caliper pistons and then to the brake fluid. Mostly a track thing but I'm installing them to keep my caliper piston boots in good shape.
Our Spyder brakes are lifted from the 991S:
Front caliper P/N 991 351 424, Porsche front pad set P/N 991 351 949 02
Rear caliper P/N 970 352 425, Porsche rear pad set P/N 991 352 949 02
Pagid reference number for front pads=4922, shape D56
Pagid reference number for rear pads=4909, shape D59

CAlexio how do you like the clear bra? How much of your car did you have done? My Spyder in GT Silver should arrive mid week and go directly to XPel. At present I have asked for front bumper and bikini front of hood. I am wondering if I should consider doing the entire hood and front fenders as well. Thanks. RWR

Rwr, I thought clear bra was necessary only for those OCD people on the forum. I was very wrong. I drove my car very carefully for two days without a clear bra, and ended up with a definite, but tiny chip midway up my hood. It's unbelievable to me how soft these water-based paints are, almost like clear bra should be included from the factory.
I have the entire front end done, the whole hood, the whole front fenders, and then the entire rockers, and two little bits on the back bumper. Even with careful drives, just looking at where all the dirt accumulates, all these areas are absolutely necessary in my opinion to not end up with stone chips all over your car. The idea of wrapping your entire car, is no longer an insane one in my mind.

Having a full body XPEL Ultimate wrap applied to the car with XPEL matte black accents added under the rear lights.
The front & rear lights, outside mirrors, door handles, rear PORSCHE SPYDER badges, front Porsche crest, rear light bar and GPS cover were all removed to make the wrap as seamless as possible. The rear badges and GPS cover are one use only items that had to be replaced.
Except for the first picture they show the car with the completed wrap with only a primer applied to it, 3 or 4 coats of Ceramic Pro will now be applied to it to make it really shine.
The installer is Unique Car Care in Stoneham MA, I can't say enough good things about these guys, they are the best!

You've got that right Moondog, Rick runs a very tight operation. I'm planning on taking one of my cars there this spring for some paint correction.
