I installed the FabSpeed tow eyes and lifting point yesterday.

Update: The front tow eyes require replacing quantity of four one time use bolts that are P/N N-911-489-01 combination screw. Initial torque is 67 ft/lbs then additional 90 degrees.

Default Full Body XPEL Ultimate

Having a full body XPEL Ultimate wrap applied to the car with XPEL matte black accents added under the rear lights.

The front & rear lights, outside mirrors, door handles, rear PORSCHE SPYDER badges, front Porsche crest, rear light bar and GPS cover were all removed to make the wrap as seamless as possible. The rear badges and GPS cover are one use only items that had to be replaced.

Except for the first picture they show the car with the completed wrap with only a primer applied to it, 3 or 4 coats of Ceramic Pro will now be applied to it to make it really shine.

The installer is Unique Car Care in Stoneham MA, I can't say enough good things about these guys, they are the best!

Really cool what you did to the rear lights.. Any close ups?.. Anywhere else where you did that?

The rear lights were removed so that the black matte XPEL could be wrapped in under the lights making it seamless with the bottom of the lights, nothing was done to the lights themselves.

Here is the closest picture I have, everything you see is covered in XPEL but it is very hard to see any seams, especially where the clear wrap and the black wrap meet.

I am considering doing a similar thing to the back license plate area, for this the license plate holder would have to be painted matte black with everything else being black XPEL.

I have attached a Photoshop of a couple of options for this that the Unique Car Care guys did for me. I'd be interested to see what people think of this and which option people like the best.

I was planning on doing my GT4 rear license area in matte black just like your first picture except I was going to do away with the license plate wart, filling the larger holes under the wart with filler plugs turned on the lathe. After seeing your last picture, now I'm not so sure. I like that too.

As long as it's just vinyl, I would experiment and go nuts. I like the little black outlines, maybe even the spoiler.. ? If you're doing that big license plate area consider the inside of the front spoiler, that little square between the vents could be all black to Match.

After the gt4 scoops go on, in looking at a piping job.. Something inspired by this 918.. Maybe a little more subtle.

Or... Go all crazy with a full Salzburg graphics package

Default replicating the original Boxster Concept car from 1998

considering looking for some 3 piece wheels to replicate the copper/polished speedline wheels from the original boxster concept car. would fit well with the gt silver/red interior color scheme.

not sure what wheels would work well for this today... any ideas?

If I were getting a Spyder, I'd get the GT4 wheels in satin black as well as the side intake covers as I see you have. I think the GT4 design is better than all others.

good point.. although going with a forged wheel for the same price which looks similar to the gt4 wheel might be an option.. like this one from forgeline:

GTD1:

looks quite similar to the GT4 wheel, but it's forged not cast.

or one which I really like also and also mildly resembles the Boxster Concept wheel which would be this one:

CF3C Concave: (bronze spokes like Boxster Concept but with polished inner wheel, not dark.)

I've seen this in racing applications in 19" version which is what I'm considering:
