Default Spyder back on market

I put my car up for sale a few months ago after I placed my order for the new one. The first guy that sees it says I'll take it. He gives me a deposit and asks me to store it. He could not sell his car so I am listing it again.

I recognize that cushion in the passenger seat. Don't let that great looking blue Spyder go, I know my blue one is a keeper. Its in for its four year service and has over 24,000 trouble free and enjoyable miles on it .

By the way I saw one of the new Spyders and interestingly you must partially disconnect parts of the top to open the rear trunk... another reason to keep mine. I will say I was surprised with the new one as they include grills for the radiators, only other cars PORSCHE does that for is their GT line

Actually you have to start the "remove the top sequence" which unlocks the electrical roof latch, lowers the windows, and unlocks the rear trunk. You can then lift the rear trunk partially to get into it. You do have to remove the rear fins to open the rear trunk all the way. Bit of a PITA for a daily driver.

However the 3.8 is sublime in the mid engine chassis.

The car is sold with 2 people in line. I hate to see it go. I'm sure the next owner will sell it for more money in a few years that they paid for it...like the last 2 cars I sold!

Congrats! Seems the manual cars with buckets are going like hot cakes. Was it a Rennlister that bought it?

A Rennlist member referred the eventual buyer. The second person came via the PCA web site and the 3rd is from Reenlist. Probably could have gone for more....favorite Porsche by far.
