So which one of the outlets helped get it sold?

Buyer saw my 2 month ad in Panorama - great guy. He now has a fantastic pristine Boxster Spyder.

Glad u got it sold. didn't make much sense that it hadn't moved at that price. These cars were listing up in the low 70's last spring/early summer. I have a PDK and absolutely NO regrets.

Thanks medtech. I think it was slower from being in Canada and the smaller market. I was in no rush and could afford to wait it out. Both buyer and seller were happy.

Congrats on the sale!

If I could have sold my Cayman in a timely fashion to subsidize the purchase of your Spyder, I'd have been all over your offer! Another Spyder slips out of my hands...

i have been watching the market on these cars and the prices have been depreciating faster then expected for such a special porsche.
I think in time they might level off and gain a better following, however people who buy them want weekend warriors thus they want the 6 speed.

Personally, I would desire PDK with 3.8L DFI conversion and Carrera GT seats. Ultimate cheater spyder for road and track. It would be mighty fast.
Can you say Lil' Bastard.

These cars are perfect. I wouldn't change a thing.
Most smiles per mile of any car I have owned.

The values drop around this time of year, especially those with sport seats and PDK.

I think Spyder's will follow a similar trend to the 89 Speedster, it has the same recipe of limited quantities and unique beautiful look. It also has a major advantage over the 89, it performs incredibly well against its competition which could improve future resales.

With the popularity of the mid engine cars increasing rapidly and 911's becoming full on GT cars the Spyder offers even more unique characteristics.
