New Spyder in the ranks

P&J, thank you, and welcome to Rennlist!
I've actually met you a couple of times at NJMP (uh, though I forgot your name). In fact, it was through you that I learned (last fall) that Spyders can be tracked topless with PCA as long as you have harnesses and arm straps. That's when my search for Spyders began heating up! Previously, I had been putting off buying a Spyder using various excuses. As you can see, I have you to thank for many reasons!!
I hope you find Rennlist to your liking. Please feel free to ask any questions.

Strange thing is, last time I was at NJMP (late August) the track workers required ALL Boxsters to run with the top down - with or without harnesses and arm straps. They cited some NJ law that it's required. We all thought that was pretty strange, especially since I had been there in July when tops were required UP.
Well, I wasn't complaining and loved it! But some people didn't feel the same way (didn't like it).. Let us know what NJMP says on Friday, as I won't be able to make it... Due to my crazy work schedule, no DE's for me until mid-October. October is when my Spyder will debut on the track. Can't wait!!

997 & 987 are interchangeable, but we are still confirming if the 981 & 991 caps are compatible with the 987 & 997. From looking at Suncoast parts, I would say no. Each wheel has it's own cap, which sucks.

Thank you, George! The GT2 sport bucket seats are available as an option on 981... in other countries. Last I checked, they were not yet available in USA. Eduardo (z356) would be the perfect person to ask about this. Hopefully he'll chime in.

Yes, you've definitely helped me and I thank you.
